STARS is TFL’s accreditation scheme for London schools and nurseries. STARS inspires young Londoners to travel to school sustainably, actively, responsibly and safely by championing walking, scooting and cycling.
STARS supports pupils’ wellbeing, helps to reduce congestion at the school gates and improve road safety and air quality.
If Junior Travel Ambassador’s are successful in completing a range of activities to promote healthier travel in their community, they can apply to receive the TFL Stars gold, silver or bronze award.
Our Junior Travel Ambassador team will be a group of children from Key Stage 2 who give their free time to work alongside Travel Champions to promote, build awareness and participate in travel issues in and around out school.
Joining over half the school’s in London, Unique Academy’s Junior Travel Ambassadors will work on making their environment healthier and safer by recognising ways to improving road safety and the health and wellbeing of members of our school community.
