  • Ensure that the board includes individuals with the necessary skills, experience, and capacity to support effective governance.
  • Establish clear roles, responsibilities, and lines of accountability.
  • Ensure compliance with all statutory, regulatory, and contractual obligations.
  • Regularly review and improve the effectiveness and impact of governance.

  • Raise educational outcomes for all pupils through robust analysis of data and evidence-based strategies.
  • Prioritise the safety, happiness, and wellbeing of all children.
  • Ensure compliance with Department for Education (DfE).
  • Uphold strong spiritual, moral, social and cultural (SMSC) provision and maintain the Islamic ethos of the school.
  • Uphold and enhance the school’s vision of “excellence in education, values, and building strong community links.”
  • Provide robust financial oversight and accountability.
  • Monitor staffing structures, recruitment, and performance management.
  • Collaborate with other schools in the Trust and relevant settings.
